Review : Twisted Hearts (Love and Honor Duet #1) by Stacey Lynn

A Glimpse : Adrianna is on the run from the forced upon her unwanted nuptials by her parents. When she is starting to try to start anew her life, her past is starting to chase her but then she meets Shawn, a man with a natural instinct to protect and might just be her guardian angel.

First off, I'd like to say I went into this book blind. I didn't read the blurb, not even a sneak peak and now I'm glad I let that happen.

Twisted hearts is such an apt title to this beautiful romantic suspense journey of mainly Adrianna and Shawn.

It starts off with Adrianna's upcoming nuptials being sprung on her without her knowledge by her dad and her fiancé's dad.

Adrianna's has never even liked Daniel, her fiancé but dated him for her father coerced her into it.

I loved the fact that Adrianna is a strong woman and comes out braver and more stronger even when she had an upbringing which made her an obedient girl.

This shows, when she takes matters into her own hands and frees the clutches of everything that is dictating her life.

Her friend is an amazing support system, like friends should be. I truly adored Jillian.

But when you take matters into your own hands, sometimes universe sends you a gift to look over you and that gift turns out to be Shawn for Adrianna.

They meet quite unknowingly. Two people, poles apart, yet somehow brought together.

I loved how Adrianna takes it with Shawn. How slowly their friendship builds and then something more when Adrianna has been so on guard.

It made me feel like I was getting to know Shawn and like him.

There's so much more going on, with Shawn along Jaxon, whom he works for, trying to protect Adrianna.

But as their findings get deeper, secrets are unveiled which nobody had thought was happening.

I was like.... Whattt... When things escalated quickly. But also oh so nervous for Adrianna. What was gonna happen and then.....😲😲😲😲..

That cliffy was not that intense but I also need that next book like right now. 🤩🥰😜😜.

Freaking loved loved Shawn and Adrianna. 💟💟💟💟💟💟
