Student-teacher romance genre is definitely one of my absolute favorites. So as soon as I read the blurb, I was beyond excited to read this one.
We get to experience the story from a past pov and the present pov which i felt helps us understand the deep bond that's shared between Connor and Vida.
Vida is today seventeen and she is beyond surprised to find out that the guy who was her best friend but left town was now her sub teacher.
The feelings they share are still intense but more developed as Vida is an almost adult now. She can't help but be upset with him for leaving her without giving her a reason.
Vida had a good but complicated childhood with her dad being constantly away on so called business trips. But he always made sure Vida was taken care of.
I do have an inkling of what her father does and felt for Vida as they have bills to be paid but what I don't understand is why her dad still does what he does and also what exactly happened with certain people.
But the one constant friend who's always been there for her is Connor also now her teacher. Reading her past pov really gives an indept perspective of why things are the way they are between Connor and Vida.
There's still so much I have questions about and after that ending I can't wait to find out what happens next. Loved this one. ❤️❤️
