MY RATING: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5

Oohhh.. Med drama with a twist 😍
I'd read the blurb and yet I was not expecting to have such an immersive experience with this one.
Kat is a assistant nurse who has had a past string of bad relationships. It's not that she's been a serial dater or something but her long term bfs have been straight A-holes and hence she has major trust issues. She doesn't believe in dating even though she has many male friends and goes partying or is out socialising a lot.
Nick is recently divorced and that has changed him as a person. He's more broody, keeps to himself and is only focused on his work as a orthopedic doctor specialising in shoulder injuries and so.
He's recently had a job change to a new hospital and is getting to people but just for his career's sake.
Yet he can't help but stop thinking about the nurse who people gravitate to and has so many friends.
Kat doesn't exactly like Mr. Broody as she calls Dr. Nick. He might be good looking but with her past she has no intentions of putting up with ill mannered men.
I loved this book, watching Kat and the other doctor and nurses treat different cases coming in. Some unusual and some serious and then some equally funny.
But this one was with a twist. As Kat starts experiencing dreams where later she gets up feeling as if they were real. Not only that most times she's in clothes or situations that she had just witnessed in her dreams.
I couldn't really tell which one were dreams or if something was happening with Kat that she doesn't realise. But her dream episodes are very intriguing and especially towards the end when she really starts freaking out after a random something pops up.
I soo can't wait to find out what happens next between her and Nick. Also what is happening with her, whether is real or something else. Can't wait to dive into book 2 fast enough. Loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
