A Glimpse: This is Book 2 in the Fable of Happiness trilogy which follows Kassen and gemma's story.

Book 1 has to be read before this to understand the story.

My Review:

This book is pure raw emotions, savage feelings embodied as baser instincts with Kas and Gem.

Woah... Freaking oh so intense.... Savage feelings.. Is what we get to see with kas and gem.

After that killer cliffy in book 1, things are not simple and even normal for quite some time as there is now the simply battle for survival.

Gem is anxious and scared not knowing if she would be able to save kas or not but on the other hand she is also scared about her own future.

Should she be a selfish person and run for her life while she has time or as a human fulfill her duty of saving kas' life.

It's a hard choice for gem and when things were just starting to move a little bit ahead, it seems like it all just keeps on crashing down on her. For Gemma can't seem to find her breath where kas is concerned.

If he was complex before now he gives the word a complete new definition.

OH my.. The feelings you will feel in this one would be so conflicted just like gem feels towards kas.

He is a person who is a victim, brutally haunted and scarred by his past and new circumstances have all but messed him up even more.

I was so nervous for Gemma. But that lady, she's a strong strong woman for not only going through what she goes but the emotional upheavals that she faces everyday are freaking Rollercoaster ride and I don't know how gem does and survive the way she does.

Let me tell you this book will throw you in the borderline zone of what's right and wrong versus who's being wronged and understanding them.

Gem like a champ goes through all that emotion filled landmines, victoriously until..... 😳😳😳😳😳..... ONCE AGAIN..... OH MY.... THAT ENDING... WHAT THE... WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN... IF I WAS SCARED BEFORE NOW THAT HAS JUST MULTIPLIED... 😱😱😱

I CAN'T ALREADY WAIT FOR BOOK 3.

What a roller-coaster ride indeed this one was. ❤️❤️
